New sizes (56cm/62cm) and a new beige color added to the CORE SHIELD® Bucket Hat collection [Scheduled for release in September 2026]

We are pleased to announce that new sizes and a new color will be added to the "CORE SHIELD® Bucket Hat," originally released in July 2026, with an expected launch in September 2026.
■ New Sizes: 56cm and 62cm Added
In addition to our current 58cm and 60cm head sizes, we are adding 56cm and 62cm. With this new lineup of 56cm, 58cm, 60cm, and 62cm, we are able to accommodate a wider range of head sizes.
Those who previously felt the hats were "a little too big" or "a little too tight" will now be able to choose a size that fits them perfectly.
Please note that the brim length is adjusted for each size; we have not simply scaled up the same hat.
■ New Color: Beige Added
Joining our existing Navy and Black options is a new Beige color. This calm, light shade is easy to coordinate with everyday outfits and offers a different impression from our original two colors.
There is a reason why sun-protective hats are often black or dark navy, but that reason also comes with side effects. You can read more about this in our column.

After the update, all three colors—Navy, Black, and Beige—will be available in all four sizes: 56cm, 58cm, 60cm, and 62cm. You can choose any combination of color and size that suits your needs.

56cm head circumference — Brim length 65mm / Body height 100mm
58cm head circumference — Brim length 70mm / Body height 100mm
60cm head circumference — Brim length 70mm / Body height 100mm
62cm head circumference — Brim length 75mm / Body height 100mm
If a hat does not fit your head properly, it cannot function effectively as sun protection. If it is too large, it will sit too high on your head, raising the position of the brim and reducing the shade cast on your face. Finding the right size is not just a matter of comfort; it is also a matter of sun protection coverage.
Please measure your head circumference with a tape measure (around the head, passing just above the eyebrows and over the most prominent part of the back of the head) and choose the size closest to your measurement. If you fall between sizes, we recommend choosing one size larger. A deeper fit provides better sun protection coverage.
■ Specifications and Pricing Remain Unchanged
The new sizes and colors will feature the same specifications and pricing as the current models.
Price: 16,800 yen (tax included)
The material is 100% polyester (using Trubeaute®). We use Trubeaute®, a special fiber containing "CWO®," a near-infrared absorbing fine particle developed by Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd.
The construction includes an inner mesh lining at the crown and sides, four side ventilation holes, a detachable chin strap, and a water-repellent finish. The entire process, from planning to sewing (in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture), is carried out in Japan.
